Robinhood is a great app for trading on the cheap and on the fly. Easy to learn, great for teaching kids about the stock market with real money and NO FEES! We love to use this app to do simple trades - if you like to short or buy on margin, dont look here. Direct access to checking and savings accounts it works well with all major banks. When you want to go long on a stock, do vanilla buys and sells casually and still have the rights and privileges of a share holder, this is for you!

I love this app but on my iPad it too small because they made the app for iPhone and Apple Watch only and I hate that I them to make iPads app too please

I would go 5 star if I had not been waiting for Robinhood Instant for MONTHS!!!!!

This is the hopefully next stage of online broker, sure there is no option yet but of things it has, everything only costs $0!! Finally you can forget about paying at $5/transaction and gradually build up/sell off your shares to control the risk. However, the app doesnt have much knowledge included and you should only use it to execute trading moves.

Have used several similar Apps before, this one is the best so far.

From the layout to what it is, Robinhood is really important. It easily helps me have conversations about investing. And helping my family members know how to invest.

Update: price change push notifications are helpful Update: Limit order exists in Robinhood. It could be presented in a better way. Old: I understand the appeal of Robinhood. It makes trading simple. Not necessarily easy. For e.g., purchase a stock with one swipe - simple. Purchase a stock without easy modern tools, such as, limit order - not easy. Graphs that fit on one screen without any customization - simple. Missing the full picture due to lack of the customization - not easy. The graphs have improved since the launch, and Im confident that they will continue to do so.

Free But Lacking Many Common Features. Customer Service Does Not Exist.

I agree with much of the Reviews Ive read so far as the (lack of) fees and so forth but especially, when viewing a in or just added to ones Watchlist, you just scroll down to view the latest data and News releases and was shocked to see some news for a small cap stock that TDAmeritrade didnt have! The mobile app is okay once you learn the icons and finding the sub menus. What I dont like are the lack of detail(s) and enough graduations of the charts for viewing. I admit I hate the process for changing a sell/buy order; for goodness sake, give me an Edit Order option! Now the Robinhood Instant makes this app quite useful to the average investor!!! I use Robinhood for short holds & occasional day trading. T54

Valuable app. Some drawbacks but its free and fast. Wish I could just pay a small fee and free cash up faster after a sale. Basic concept is outstanding, works flawlessly.

I purchase the stock at the specified price and then when it comes up it says I spent more than I intended. You guys need to fix this because Im consistently paying a little more than I want to for a stock.

STOP LOGGING ME OUT!! No one else seems to have this problem. Not sure whats wrong with me. Ive tried reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, nothing. Every other day or so, I get logged out and the app resets itself.

Great layout and design and free stock trading. No brainier. Everyone should have this app.
